Idol is an adaptation of the Pop Idol format. It started airing in
India with the first season in 2004-2005 and followed that with second
(2005–2006), third (2007) and fourth (2008–2009) seasons. In February
2010, Sony Entertainment Television announced the launch of the Fifth
season.
Watch a video recording captured using a crappy cell-phone camera of live performance of Rajdeep and Torsha and the spectacularly spontaneous audience reaction of Washington DC Bengalis exclusively on Washington Bangla Radio.
