One of the first guests to arrive at Priya on the evening was the young and promising actor Dipanjan Bhattacharjee (who plays the role of ‘Dhritin’ in one of the stories in ‘Mayabazar’). The actor, looking dapper in a black punjabi, flitted about the theater busily and also took an active interest in distributing the premiere passes to other guests. It was refreshing to see such verve and enthusiasm in the young actor. Yet another known face from the current crop of upcoming actors, Badshah Moitra, also arrived pretty early at the theater complex. Moitra took time out to interact with the media journalists who were present there and also posed for the camera (much to the glee of photographers).

Veteran actor Dhritiman Chatterjee appeared soon enough at Priya Cinema too. His enormous popularity was for all to see as he arrived at the theater. Chatterjee, on his part, patiently, waited for the press photographers to have their fill and then headed upstairs, where movie would actually be screened.

The pretty Payel Dey, one of the most known faces in Bengali TV serials, looking enchanting in a classy white saree, reached Priya soon after. Her delightful smiling face was a lovely sight to behold for everyone present there.
