Be Bonnie is a three storied unisex beauty salon which is dedicated to the service of the people for the last ten years. The salon which already has its branches at E. M. Bypass, Gariahat and City Center added another branch to its list. The new branch was opened at Gangulybagan area in Garia.

Despite the humidity and the heat increasing in the city, director Soumyo-Supriyo were in full swing while shooting for their film “Saare ChuattorGhoshpara” at Kasari Bari near Hathkhola Post Office, Shovabazar.

The scene which was shot at Kasari Bari involved the lead characters of the film in a comic situation. The particular scene was shot on the roof of the house. The characters in this scene were Chompa boudi, Sagnik, Anindya and Koushik. Chompa Boudi who dresses up especially to impress the young boys is seen in a witty conversation with the three of them. Sagnik who becomes irritated grabs his towel and starts moving away. After going some steps he realizes that he has grabbed the bra instead of the towel. Embarrassed he keeps the bra and then takes the towel and goes away.

The graduating students of INIFD (International institute of Fashion Design) in Salt Lake showcased their creations at Swissotel. Noted fashion designers judged their creative quotient.

Present at the music launch were Goutam Ghosh, Dipankar Dey, Shirsendu Mukhopadhyay, Debojyoti Mishra, Haranath Chakraborty, Monotosh Chakraborty, Prabhat Ray, Nimu Bhowmick, Gourab Chakraborty, Master Adhiraj and Sudip Mukherjee.
