The Amar Chitra Katha comics are an Indian icon, featuring mythological and historical stories from the endless reserves of Indian mythology and history. Mar 7, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) The KOLAJ Bengali Magazine editorial team is gearing up again for the next edition after their successful paperback Bangla magazine launch over last year's Durga Puja.

We are very happy to inform you the editors of Icchamoti have published the Winter 2010 issue of the wonderful ICHCHAMOTI Bengali Children's e-Zine.

Ichamoti (Ichchamoti) is one of the most-read Online Bengali Magazines for children in the United States.

The little school compound we visited for our first workshop still stands there, the school is still operational, but its mood has changed. All the merriment is gone now. One of its main teachers is already dead. The cyclone too did not spare the school. Joydhak - the group that publishes a top Bengali children's online magazine of the same title, continues to make interesting and practical contributions towards energizing and inspiring coming generations of Bengalis by organizing unique camps and workshops for children of Bengal who are growing up in rural and semi-rural, often economically challenged, areas.

The editor of Joydhak brought to our attention the fascinating experiment called "Sishu Kishore Vikaas Mela" (Children's Development Fair) - a series of annual camps and workshops, started a dozen years ago.

The not-for-profit Bengali organization "Bengalis In Hyderabad" (BIH) have published "KOLAJ", the first Bangla magazine in Hyderabad. The creative editorial team of Kolaj richly deserve commendation for their immense effort to compile and present a wonderful read.
