(LOS ANGELES, July 7) -- The sixth Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, opens next week (on Wednesday, July 15) -- but the film already represents 61% of daily ticket sales on Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination.

Advance ticket sales for the new Potter movie are outpacing advance sales for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the fifth Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, at the same point in those films’ sales cycles (eight days before release date).

(Los Angeles, July 9, 2009) -- Fandango, the nation’s leading moviegoer destination, reports that nearly 500 showtimes of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (opening next Tuesday night at midnight) are sold out across the country.

The sixth Harry Potter movie currently represents:
•Fandango’s fastest-selling title of the year;
•65% of daily ticket sales on Fandango (followed by Bruno, which opens tomorrow and accounts for 19% of ticket sales);

LOS ANGELES, July 15- "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" has eclipsed both "Twilight" and "The Dark Knight" on Fandango's list of Top Ten Advance Ticket-Sellers, taking over the #2 spot from "Knight." The #1 spot continues to be held by "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith."

Komen for the Cure®. For the first two weeks of the film’s opening, October 23rd to November 6th, 2009, one dollar of every Motherhood ticket sold on Fandango will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

(Los Angeles – November 12, 2009) New Moon opens at midnight one week from tonight, but the film has already outsold its predecessor, Twilight, in total advance ticket sales on Fandango, the nation's leading movie ticketing destination. The new movie currently represents 75% of the site's ticket sales.

Although thousands of next Thursday night's midnight showtimes are sold-out across the country (from Anchorage, Alaska to Winter Park, Florida), tickets are still available, while new showtimes are added regularly to keep up with the demand.

(Los Angeles, Nov. 15, 2009) With five more days before its November 20 release date, New Moon has already leaped over previous record-holders to become the top-selling pre-release title in Fandango's ten-year history. The new record for Fandango's fastest-selling film was set on Saturday night, November 14, shortly after 8:00 p.m.
