India go down by 65 runs in first rain-affected ODI

Melbourne, Feb 5 (IBNS) India made a disastrous start to the tri-series losing the first rain-affected ODI against Australia by 65 runs via the Duckworth Lewis Method at the Melbourne Cricket Ground here Sunday.

Australia riding on debutant batsman-wicketkeeper Matthew Wade’s 67 and David Hussey’s 61 made 261 for five from 32 overs. The match was reduced to 32 overs per side after a three-hour rain delay early in the innings.

The film is also competing at the SeeFlik 2012 and Box [ur] shorts 2012 film awards in the US.

Yuvraj detected with malignant tumour, undergoing treatment in US

New Delhi, Feb 5 (IBNS) India's star cricketer Yuvraj Singh has been diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his lung and support is pouring in from all corners.

Yuvraj's physiotherapist Jatin Chaudhary releaved on Sunday that Yuvraj had left for the US on January 26 and is undergoing chemotherapy in Boston at a cancer research institute.

Reno, Nevada, Feb 5 (IBNS) A Hindu group in USA has applauded the Hungarian Government for funding “Csak a szél (Just The Wind)”, a film about Roma (Gypsy) killings, which is premiering and competing at “62nd Berlin International Film Festival”, starting February 9.

Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA), said that it was a “step in the right direction” for Hungary Government to fund projects which highlight its dark side of continuous Roma maltreatment.
