Kolkata, May 5, 2013 (Washington Bangla Radio): Distracted by electronics, new generation kids in India are losing touch with rhymes that many of us have listened to during our kindergarten years. It is due to this reason that Debjani Ghosh came up with the idea of recording an album especially for young kids to get them acquainted with these rhymes. This album of English rhymes titled ‘Hooray’ was launched recently at Music World by eminent Tollywood actor Soham, Raj Kalyan Roy, Gautam Debnath and Arijit Mitra (principal of Nalanda School). Also present at the launch was Debjani Ghosh’s teacher Uma from whom she had learned the nursery rhymes herself.

Kolkata, May 5, 2013 (Washington Bangla Radio): The premiere of Bengali film ‘Lattu’ (Lattoo) was held at London-Paris multiplex at ‘Mukti world’ complex in Kolkata. The cast and crew of the film came together at the venue to make the premiere a gala evening.

Bidita Bag already has shot to fame with her roles in critically acclaimed film Icche and of course with her international flick ‘From Sydney with Love’ she is now known nationally. As the music of the film has been launched, the audience will soon know that apart from a promising story line the film also can boast of a great music album which speaks a lot about the potentiali of Sanchayita the Music director.

Anindita Saha is an accomplished and performance-driven professional Musician (Vocal), seeking a challenging career in Music. She has a Bachelors degree in Zoology and a Masters Degree in Music from University of Calcutta. Anindita also learned music from INDRANI SEN and CHANDAN ROY CHOUDHURY.
